We're going to have to wait for the final Federal approval before we start hearing specifics, Larry and Jeff keep saying that the CO/UA partnership will be much closer than the former partnership with NWA. I'm anxious to get specifics, but I would expect a lot of co locating at airports across the Nation. Hopefully CO will move to airside 3 at MCO , UA has a Red Carpet room there which is sorely needed in Orlando which does a tremendous convention business.

A show-cause order, which the FT suggests will be issued, has a pretty short fuse before becoming final. Unless DL and the travel agents have some new and novel arguments up their sleeves, the fight should be over. Still, you are correct that it's proper protocol for CO to sit on the details until the order is final.
I love long German words like 'Freundschaftsbezeigungen'.

If memory serves, Oberstar is from Minnesota (couldn't get on the article, so I'm going from memory). Gee, he isn't running interference for NW/DL?
Will be interesting to see what happens this summer as CO gets ready to join Star, and get closer to UA. I'm hoping for good things for CO in Star and for CLE as well, although we've always walked the tightrope on the second one here in CLE.
