Particularly enjoyed 22:45 of the video clip -- 747 taking off from Kai Tak's unextended runway 13. Classic!!

Great music (fitting of the period)

Great film quality given the age.

And the biggest tease with the National Airlines 747 tail in the Boeing line up. (boy what I'd do to see some uninterrupted National 747 footage!)

Great find LatinPlane, thanks for sharing!

Awesome video that shows some amazing clips. I can easily imagine how this video would have made someone in the 1970s want to travel. The clarity is also extremely good.
I wish airlines nowadays would come up with something like this.
Another thing-putting this video into context it was the first time in human history in which continents, regions and exotic cities were finally accessible to the average person in most places in the world. A trip to the Middle East or Australia twenty years before this video would have taken weeks by sea. Truly remarkable, and the main reason why Pan Am deserves to live on forever.

Soundtrack deserves an album of fits own, great grooves in there!
