Any chance of DL sending the NWs A330s to TXL, DUS, STR, FRA, MUC? Although nothing really wrong with the 767-300er they now use, the interiors are a bit old and the IFE is totally outdated. Germany is a big market for DL wouldn't be wise for them to upgrade their product?

Quoting Panamair (Reply 3): ATL-FRA gets the 767-400ER, which interior-wise, looks more 'modern' (it has the sidewalls and overhead bins of the 777) and has nose-to-tail AVOD PTVs.
I'm not sure what a more modern sidewall and overhead bin looks like but the A333's also have nose-to-tail AVOD PTVs and individual power sources in Y which is why I've always favored NW's A333's for long flights over anything else. Those laptop batteries can get pretty heavy to carry around

I've flown all three DL types across the Atlantic, 757, 767-300er and 767-400. The 400s are by far much better than the first two. If DL chooses not to deploy the A330s then how 'bout upgrading the 300er routes to 400s?
I'm a huge fan of the A330 myself. I've flown AF's A330s about a dozen times and simply love the aircraft.
p.s. I'm not ripping DL by the way. I would make the switch to DL if they updated their product a bit, either 400s or A330s.

This is like the one thing I have always thought Delta missed the boat on. perhaps someone on here can explain why. I have flown on DL's aircraft with AVOD PTVs 737, 757, 767 and none of them have power ports in Y. Where as CO and apparently NW both have them. I agree with Airbazar in that batteries don't last very long, relatively speaking, especially to Europe.
