Thats not true - Menzies/TollDn/QF/EGH etc all have different agreements. Even in one company you can have casual/permanent/full time staff.. As well some of the ramp staff are in unionised companies, others are not.
The pay rates probably only differ by a $ or 2 an hour when it all comes out in the wash however, except for QF who make significantly more...

I believe it's a state law in CA that if you don't get benefits in certain occupations, you get paid a livable wage... When I worked part-time sans benefits with ATS at ONT, I was paid $10.64 per hour, which they said was because of that clause. I certainly wasn't complaining, especially at 30-35 hours a week and no rent
