I'm flying from London Stansted to Faro in a few weeks, what is the plane likely to be.
It with Thompson Airways, Flight Number TOM 5405.

Many Thanks

I thought this summer STN was going to be based with an ex-FCA based aircraft and crew...

I am more than happy to be corrected!

I was just going on the flight number and city pairing.

5405 only runs to the end of April.

Below is the summer rotation STN/FAO, which bears out what you suggest:

FAO SUN 08:15 11:05 SUN 320 TOM5720 weekly 25 03/05/2009 18/10/2009

I believe it is a TOM config aircraft.

Is FCA pretty much gone yet?

Slight correction; its Thomson Airways.

Really!? That's great! By saying TOM config do you mean the high density layout or the new 33'' pitch arrangement? Here's hoping!

Thanks once again!

I don't have any involvement with TOM, so I'm sure someone else on here will be more qualified to comment/confirm, but my understanding is that MAN and LGW are getting the high density config aircraft for summer.

The long hauls 763s are in either 258 (ex FCA) or 283 (TOM config). Dunno whether TOM still use the 763s in short haul config though, which would be around 328
