Just got word NWA 747s operating tonight and tomorrow into SJC for Military charters. Looks like 745pm arrival tonight, 4am arrival tomorrow and 3pm arrival tomorrow. I heard they are using the same plane for all of the flights.

Slightly off topic, I am going on a DL/NW 747 HNL-ATL on Tue 5/5, and I was wondering what I should expect as far as cabin interior, has delta updated any of the 747s? pvts? I viewed a few photos on here and they looked pretty rough, anyone have any insight? thanks.

Nice Shot!!!!

Made it out to see the departure at 11 tonite; took off about half way down 30L, did the full loupe departure, but was lost in clouds after the turn back towards SJC.

Will there be two 744's @ SJC tomorrow, or is the 4AM arrival leaving and coming back?

The red zone is for the immediate loading and unloading of passengers only, there is no stopping in the white zone...(Ai

Thanks for keeping us in the loop on these...do you know how much longer these are going to continue?

I saw the 11pm departure takeoff from the road (Lawrence at 101) and I just saw the 2:30am arrival doing the Fairgrounds Visual to 30L; will be there for the afternoon arrival tomorrow!

I hope those military bags are containerized. It will be a real "bear" if the poor rampers had bulk load an entire 747 full of those heavy bags.

I doubt that they are. Usually, they just put down pallets, and build them up in the belly itself.

Hey Flyibaby,

Any more flights in the near future that you've heard of?

Nothing other than the usual activity - although I am always asking around.
