I saw a 727 flying past my house at a steady altitude where normaly the airliners dont fly meaning not in the regular pattern and it was pretty low and not gaining altitude and being an airplane whiz i know that it wasnt an airliner. it was all white i believe a -200 and it had a red stripe and a blue stripe going along the side. i watched it for a while and then saw it lower its gear whch was crazy because it just took off. Any help???it flew past at 3:00 P.M.

Hmm... did the plane have a dark blue tail? It could have been a United Postal Service plane. The plane could have also been Kitty Hawk. From the flight description you gave, maybe it did not fuel up enough? It has happened. A relative of mine was on a Continental 727-200 flying from EWR to SJU when the plane turned back to EWR because they needed more fuel. Maybe there was actually a problem with the plane? I'm not really sure. Hope this helps somewhat :-).
