I briefly caught an item on the TV News about this.

Does anyone have further details.

Nothing on Palmair website.

Palmair are using an ex-BA 735 leased from Astraeus, reg G-PJPJ. The aircraft carries no titles whatsoever.

Quoting EICVD (Reply 1):
The aircraft carries no titles whatsoever.

Wrong. It carries large PALMAIR billboard titles, and a union flag on the tail - along with it's new website address flypalmair.co.uk - in addition, the aircraft is named "The Spirit of Peter Bath".

The aircraft also has the registration number G-PJPJ – after the nickname ‘PJ’ by which Mr Bath was affectionately known.

Aircraft is on a long term lease from Astraeus, with Palmair Cabin Crew.

Ooh, snazzy new website. The online booking is a new addition, right? Great stuff.

By the way, G-PJPJ was with BA until last December, but now it has 124 seats instead of 110.

About time too - about four years ago they nearly took a 735, but thankfully for us enthusiasts they kept the 732s batting around the skies for a little longer. Hopefully I'll get the chance to fly this machine to MAH at some point  yes
