Saw WN ship N902WN in STL with the satellite "blister" on the fuselage. Is Southwest trying to go "Jetblue"?

Never heard of it but with WN they care most about low cost. It couldn't hurt for them to do so, but they want to keep costs as low as possible. How much would it cost to add IFE to certain planes on certain routes?

Yes, WN has awarded a satellite based WiFi contract to a company called Row 44.

Southwest is adding satellite internet to their planes. Alaska is doing the same with the same product.
