My guess is E170's as they fit 70 versus the fokkers 50 seats. This will enable them to replace he Fokker 50 1:1 versus 1;2 with the 190. Anyone else think the same???

A very interesting tidbit in this article is that AFKL intends to place the 100 aircraft order by the end of this year, unless market conditions deteriorate further. Also interesting is that the article mentions that they will most likely order the 787 AND the a350.

No, the article says that the F70's will likely replace the F50 on current F50 routes, and the E190 replaces the F70 on current F70 routes.

How about those last F100s that will remain after all of the Embrears and ex-Régional F70s have been delivered? Shouldn't they be ordering five or so more E190s? Can somebody give them a call?

I also think the Embraers are the right aircraft for the current economic situation as many destinations have reduced demand meaning that the B737 sometimes represent too much capacity. 100-seat plannes are perfect for certain niche markets.
