I was driving by the downtown Kansas City airport (which has no regularly scheduled commercial service) tonight, and noticed two CO 738s on the ramp. A quick Flight Aware e search revealed the following"

The Kansas City Royals fly on Continental with the flight number 1905, they play in St. Louis this weekend where CO1905 was going.
The Cleveland Indians have been flying on Continental with the flight number 1901, and they are playing in Cincinnati this weekend, which is where 1901 flew to from MKC.
I am no CO insider, but that is my take on it, everything fits to make sense.

Correct on that one. The Tribe flew from KC to CVG tonight, then it flew as 1933 CVG-CLE, with 3 whole NRSA's on it. Plane is not back in position in CLE.

Quoting C767P (Reply 6): Diamondbacks: Swift Air 901
Diamondbacks should be SWQ801, not 901. N801TJ is the aircraft. That said, SWQ802, the sister ship, flew to INT the other afternoon which leads me to believe that it's in for scheduled mx check. AZ didn't fly Swift Air last night, by the way as the NBA I believe had the airplane the day before (EWR-LAX)?

"Irregardless, it's a Cat III airplane, we don't need an alternate!"
My bad, typo. How many aircraft does Swift have for this kind of charter? I noticed the Padres used Continental from PHL to SFO earlier this season instead of Swift...
