I was driving by the Boeing complex at Everett this evening on my way back home. I wanted to see the 787 for myself. As I passed the Assembly hangers, all the doors are cracked open, I caught a glimpse of a 777 in the Skyteam special livery with Air France Titles. Spotters be on the lookout, I would guess is should be on the flightline at PAE in a few days.

You know, the DL 767-400ER looks awesome. So I think AF's 777 should look great, as well.
AM's is okay, though I think the livery looks better on white then silver. (No reflection on AM's own livery, which I think looks great.)

They all look amazing!
I cant wait for the rest to come out, especially the Air France and KLM,
The AeroMexico and CSA look very dark, probably from the lighting though.
Do the plan on adding them on multiple planes? Or only one for each airline?

Out of the three alliances, I think SkyTeam's livery is the best. oneworld doesn't seem to know what they're doing what with all of the variations, and Star Alliance's livery is just bland.

Not everyone will agree with me, but I think the Star Alliance livery is really bad. The lettering fonts are so thin that it looks like someone with a magic marker had painted it on. It ruins the whole concept of the plane. At least SkyTeam's lettering is a little thicker.

Thats not difficult. All three Alliance liveries are bland, and among the bad the mediocre is king. Why doesnt one Alliance come up with a vibrant, striking look instead of this boring camouflage? Lack of courage? Lack of taste? Why bother about special liveries when they are so unremarkable that they do the opposite of what they should do?

^ Because a vibrant, striking look would cause too many marketing objections and rival the airline's native look. I don't know if LH would want a red, or yellow or whatever, plane. The blandness is kind of the point of those liveries. Additionally, the larger alliances grow, the more marketing people are involved and thus, the more bland an alliance look gets. Too many cooks spoil the broth.
Exactly. Thats why Alliance liveries are useless, because while they might make an impression, its not a good one.
I know why Star´s "colours" are black and white or the others blue. What other "colours" could unimaginative aviation people agree on, which come from the blue, the red or the yellow, the purple and green?

Why should LH disagree with yellow? Its their primary company colour (not blue, as most might think).
And still no KL 744 to be painted in the SkyTeam livery Why are no 747's to be painted in the SkyTeam livery? Surely one would expect a few 747's being painted in the alliance livery as AF, KL and DL/NW operate the 747....?

Agreed 100%. Though I like the silver rather than yet ANOTHER boring all-white livery. My only question on this dull scheme is what is that ugly swirly design thing toward the rear? To me, it looks like it spells out "S F P".
