Found this on the web site Aerocroatia.

24.05 Croatia Airlines (OU/CTN) will start seasonal charter flights between Dubrovnik and Teheran. It will be the longest flights of Croatia Airlines

Anyone know when these flights might start and why?

Maybe they are tapping into the Iranians that want to visit for vacations etc.. I couldnt see it being DBV-THR traffic.

Pretty obvious why. They want more tourists. Alot of Iranians go to the Turkish riviera so they can wear bikinis etc and some hotels/resorts specialise in this market. Maybe they can be persuaded further west.
