Hello everyone. TWA's Terminal Five has always fascinated me just as I am fascinated and still miss the "jet age." IMO, Terminal Five is one of the biggest icons of the Jet Age, an age where 747s, DC10s, L1011,s ruled the skies, not 50 seat regional jets. Anyways, I have a few questions about TWA T5. I know a lot of the original structure remains, but what about the now demolished flight wings. Were those special and architecturally amazing buildings just like the main terminal building is? I can't find any interior pictures of those online. Also, is the interior of the preserved "main" building just like it was when TWA shut down in 01? I like Jetblue just as much as the next person but I really hope Jetblue keeps the "original" qualities of it and doesn't kill the charm of it with posters about "Jetting" and large LCD TV's. Thankyou very much!
