I was just browsing around on seatguru.com and noticed there that the seat width of OS 772ERs is quoted with 18.47"@10 abreast. According to Boeing, the 777's cabin width is 19'3", corresponding to 231". Deducting the 184.7" for 10 seats abreast leaves 46.3" for both aisles, or 23.15" (58.8 cm) per aisle.
Now my question: is this possible? I'm asking because those 18.47" is significantly wider than anything else reported on a 10 abreast B777 on seatguru (e.g., EK or AF with 17"). Even some 9-abreast have only 17" like TG. Taking SQ's 19" Y seat would leave 17.1" as the maximum for 10 abreast...
WARNING! The post above should be taken with a grain of salt! Furthermore, it may be slightly biased towards A.

Seatguru has mistakes and when you point them out to the people who run it, they tend to simply ignore you.
They are not an official site by any means.
To answer your question, if an airline tried to put seats like that in 10Y on a 777, the aisles would be a foot wide and illegal.
Of all the things to worry about... the Wookie has no pants.

Quoting Aerohottie (Reply 3): Which is how, from memory, SQ manage a 9 abreast layout with 19" seats and 17" aisles.
That sounds about right. At 9-abreast (2+5+2) seat width is .47m / 18.5" with a .49m / 19.25" aisle. So reducing that aisle by 2.25" would allow the seats to be 18.75" wide (2.25/9 = .25).

Airlines wildly exaggerate their seat width figures in various sources, and there is no consistent method of measurement, e.g. is it just the seat cushion width, or the width between the middle of adjacent armrests?
All 10-abreast 777s are much less comfortable than all 9-abreast 777s and the aisle is also notably narrower.
