You're in luck...it will be an international aircraft. The flight is about 3 hours long, so there should be a meal service. The meal includes an entree (pasta, chicken and so on), salad, breaksticks, and a desert. Also, since this is an international aircraft, it will have PTVs for every passenger.

Any specific questions?

I wanna get some good pics of the Chicago Skyline on takeoff.

It departs from the one that the controlers tell it to depart from.

Of course, a flight departs from the runway that the controllers tell it to depart from. However, at O'hare there are certain flights that depart from one specific runway consistently.
Does anybody know which runway UA Flt#997 departs from most frequently?
THANKS

OH yeah, that flight departs from Runway 18 ALL the time...... it's really cool cause the pilot has to be REALLY skilled so he doesn't hit the control tower or hotel.. but it's definitely a takeoff worth watching!!!!

it all depends on traffic, most of the 747-400s operate on 14L/32R and 27L/9R... that's about all the "typical" runway assignments you can expect.

FYI-- flying FLLORD 19April in First Class then it's onto SPI on Great Lakes... i'll be sure to tell everyone each flight attendant's name, copy the menu, and tell you EVERY little detail I can about the trip!!!

*another evil grin* heh

That flight better not takeoff from runway 18/36 or there probably won't be a O'Hare!!!!!!!!!
