Delta JFK-AGP -- 767 Upgrade?

Just checked Delta's website as I was looking into booking an AGP-PHL trip thru JFK.
On the return (in early July), the aircraft is a B767-300ER instead of the B757-200W's they've been using.

Is this confirmed? Also, any other European routes had an upgrade this year?

I didn't think Malaga could yield the market to bring in a 763 from JFK; then again though, it's the sole scheduled Transatlantic service (apart from the occasion A310 to YYZ).

The capacity upgauge is so far only for July and only on one weekly service (Fri departure out of JFK and Saturday return from AGP). The rest of the days remains a 752. Service to AGP this summer has already been increased from 4x weekly to 5x weekly.

Do the DL 757 and 767 share a common crew - if not, are 767 crew HOTAC'd for a week?

Quoting Mds (Thread starter):

Sometimes, is easy to see operating to AGP the A330 of TS.

Gerard

Yes - there is a 757/767 group that works strictly domestic, and a 757/767 group that works strictly international (note that the 767-400 is not included in this group).

Yes. DL has two separate 757/767 bids. As per the bid sheet, those "767" pilots fly the 757 and 767 domestic only. The "767ER" pilots fly the 757 and 767 internationally, with a few (rare) domestic flights.

Those pilots flying JFK-AGP will be JFK-based 767ER crews, able to operate both the 757(WL)'s and 763ER's.

I can only assume that the eastbound 752 crew that crew the 763 back will have additional cabin crew to service the 763?

Either that, or 4 people take longer layovers in Malaga to fill the gap.

The proper term is "on final" not "on finals" bud...
