This week i heard that the dutch (holiday) charter line Air Holland was back in business, after some time not, because of a bankrupt.
Can anyone told me what happened? I thought the planes (2x 757-2) were go to Martinair (also Dutch), i flew one last year, which was an old Air Holland plane.

Seems like they fly with another 757-2 and plan to fly a dc10 or 767 in the near future, with a new cs.

Anyone more news?

I saw, for the first time, an Air Holland 757 at BRU today. Do you know anything about this flight?

I read somewhere that Air Holland are operating a 757 based somewhere in Africa (could be Senegal or Ivory Coast) to Brussels, Amsterdam and think Paris (?)
Perhaps someone can add to this .......

Air Holland has been flying for a while now since the new startup. They operate a B757 and very soon a second will be added.

Plans to operate a DC10 were cancelled because of the high costs and noise restrictions.
Air Holland will now operate two B767's in the summerseason instead. Total fleet this summer will be 2 x B757 and 2 x B767.

Charters are operated for a Dutch touroperator to Curacao.

Air Holland also operates as the national carrier of Senegal. Not sure about the routes, think London Stansted is one of them.

The new livery will be applied to the soon to be delivered B757. It has a white fuselage, the top of the fuselage will be orange, tail is orange with the Dutch fail. On the fuselage large Air Holland titles.

best wishes,

The tail looks sort of like the old United livery.

Good they got back on their feet (or should I say wheels?)

Since when is that second one in AMS? Let me see:
1 757-2 (ph-ahe) has always been in property of Air Holland
1 was going to martinair, but is coming back to AH
1 went to Transavia
1 went to america.
I don't know what happend with the 737-3/4.

And were does that 2nd come from? Has it already the new cs?

Air Holland is almost making up its mind involving the by undersigned developed and designed logo and colourscheme designs. The airline is planning to implement for each aircraft an unique colourscheme design. The new Air Holland logo however will always be the same on each aircraft. According the contract with Air Holland I cannot yet reveil the designs. Keep my site http://www.webstudio.nl/liladesign/ and this messageboard in mind for further developments/news.

I really cannot wait to work out the Air Holland colourscheme designs for the paintshop; it is true that this is exiting for me and my company. This project, on which we already work since the summer of 2000, has to boost our business. The colourschemes will be very interesting for spotters. As soon I have news to reveil I will return to this board with my own Air Holland topic.

Take care!

Air Orange, the PH-AHF is currently all white after the lease from Martinair. Any chance the PH-AHF is the first to be painted into the new c/s? And will it be painted in AMS or somewhere else?

456, the B757 (PH-AHP) which went to Transavia hasn't been used for a while and all HV titles are gone. Furthermore, the PH-AHI and PH-AHF went to Martinair last year. However, the PH-AHF has returned (this is the second B757). I'm not sure if the PH-AHI still flies for MP.

I do not have that inside information but I think it will be logical that the PH-AHF will be the first. Martinair is doing very bad (economically) at the moment so I think they therefor return that B757-200 to Air Holland. I just wait until Air Holland comes up to me for the execution of the first colourscheme design. Be continued!
