I'm booked on DL's flight to and from CAI this week and was wondering about the flight. I know its a fairly long distance (maybe 3rd longest?) for the 763 DL sends but I was wondering if there are restrictions, cargo or pax, to the flight. I flew to CAI on KL in September and while the flight was shown as "full", the front have of the plane was actually empty.

I know there are often weight restrictions on the return leg, CAI-JFK, but I don't know how many seats are usually restricted.

There shouldn't be restrictions on the way over, but on the way back they may block off seats in coach. Business will not be restricted.
The proper term is "on final" not "on finals" bud...

I know that the 763 during summer on the way back of the IST-JFK leg is always struggling. CAI is 600mi further so I assume they have restrictions for sure.
