There are tons of aviation apps, it just depends on what your preferences are... I have ones with flight status, excess bag fees, airport gate maps, airport and airline codes, as well as airline specific apps from Qantas and Lufthansa. There are tons more with fare finders, flight trackers and even technical apps for pilots... Take a look in the travel section or just do a few searches and see what comes up.

There is also a spotters app called PlaneSpot where you can report spottings of US registered aircraft and you can also look up FA details on the aircraft.
