What upgrade?
The BA B744 fleet was upgraded to AVOD and NCW and was finished over a year ago.
The next upgrade will be First Class, and this will not start until late Autumn.

IIRC a recent post said that United has completed 18/24 of its 744s with new Suite Dreams product. New First, new Business, not sure about Y. So those should be looking *quite nice*  Smile

I don't think that QF have plans to 'upgrade' thier 744 at this stage they are however reconfiguring them to have Y+ seating, thus two class is becoming three, and three to four. Would be fantastic if they upgraded their F to the same standard to the A380 like CX has but I really really don't see this happening (snowballs chance in Uluru  Wink), would be nice to see the skybeds upgraded but most people would argue that the current crisis and the length of stay forecast in the fleet doesn't warrant it!

18 out of 26 are done with 2 more in the shop. Y received new seat covers, LCDs replaced the CRTs/projectors, new bulkheads and carpets in the updated UA pattern.

The BA staff that have seen it and tested it, I gather, have been made to sign a confidentiality agreement so until it officially gets unveiled everything will be either speculation or someone is being naughty.

UA's interior upgrades (mostly impacting the First and Business cabins) are being tracked on the FlyerGuide Wiki.

Looks like current status is 18 complete out of a total of 24. There are currently 2 aircraft in progress.

October 2009 is the target for completion of all 24 aircraft.
