It is obviously a North American, South American, Asian, Australasian or Antarctic airline.

My guess would be Malaysian Airlines, but I'm not a hundred percent sure.

I can think of at least 3 airlines off the top of my head. MH is publicly and openly shopping theirs, and the other two are being a lot more low key about it.

BA and Malysian try to sell some as everbody knows. But who else I don´t know. Korean? Certainly not, they even get a few new ones soon. Asiana? Probably, but they are opening new routes so its not very likely. North American? I can´t see any. Northwest absolutely not, they just ordered new ones are one of the most likely to order even more. UA? Though I´m pretty sure they have none on order anymore, the usually very exact Bill Harms website keeps on mentioning 7 on order!

My guess is SIA. They are getting new ones on a regular basis and they have a lot of the "oldest" 744s worldwide, built in 1989. 12 year old airplanes are very old in SIA-time so I vote for them.

Good Job Qantas737 and others who came up with Malaysia Airlines. If you look up the list of aircraft on sale by Boeing (" http://www.boeing.com/assocproducts/airtrade/ ") you will find that both 9M-MHL & 9M-MHM are for sale.

That´s old news. The two Combis are for sale for quite some time already being a bit odd in Malysias 744-fleet with their GE-engines.
