Could someone please tell me the latest update on easyJet's A320's please?

How many do they have?

Where are they based?

What routes do they usually fly?

How many new ones have they got from Airbus and how many ex GT ones are still in the fleet?

Have the ex GT ones still got the GT seats or have they or are they being refitted to easyJet ones?

Are they planning on getting rid of any, or all of the GT ones and replacing them with new ones and if so, are they not going to finish repainting the current GT ones to easyJet colours?

Any information appreciated.

Thanks.

A320:
G-TTOF/G/H/I/J are still active, all based at LGW. They will be WFU within the next months.
G-EZTA/B/C/D/E/F are based at LGW and MAN.

A321:
G-TTID/E/F are still active, will be WFU soon as well.

All above aircraft mainly operate the longer routes to the sun destinations (Canaries, Portugal, Greece, Cyprus, Egypt etc...). Sometimes the LGW based aircrafs are deployed on some shorter routes like HEL and NCE.

Is HEL a shorter route??? According to my calculations it is 1823 km from London... That is hardly a short route! I reckon about 2.5-3 hours flying time...

Next Flights: LHR-OSL (319-BA), OSL-LHR (319-BA), LHR-IAH (744-BA), MSY-LGA (319-DL), JFK-LHR (744-BA)

Yes. Well, almost:

LGW-HEL 1,158 miles
LGW-ATH 1,489 miles
LGW-TFS 1,809 miles
LGW-ECN 2.002 miles
LGW-CAI 2,176 miles

But

LGW-FAO 1,048 miles

Pretty much as what has been said already really.

EX GB A320's G-TTOF/G/H/I/J are all now based at LGW. A change of engineering contract makes ex GT fleet ops out of MAN complicated.

New Aircraft A320's G-EZTA/B/C/D/E....F shortly are based at MAN and LGW operating mainly our longer routes that cannot efficiently be operated by the 319's. By long sectors I mean generally those over 3 hours although they also operate AGP, ALC and BIA ex MAN.

The ex GT examples still have BA seats though the takeover saw the forward wardrobe taken away and an extra row fitted.

Proud to fly from Manchester!
