At MIA this weekend, I noticed 3 Allegiant Air MD-80s: 2 at Concourse G and 1 at Concourse J. Every day this week, the airport's flight information display has been showing several G4 flights heading to various points in Cuba.
When did G4 start operating Cuba charters from MIA? Is this a temporary thing, or are they going to be flying these long-term like Gulfstream and Sky King?

Wow good news, nice to see something new on Miami-Cuba. I past MIA this weekend and noticed two G4 MD-80s at the gates and wondered in FLL had bad weather or something. This answers my question.m So besides for AA,MQ, Gulfstream and now G4 who else still sends down charters? Does Continental Mainline still send their metal to Cuba?
