There is a lot of interest in the intense air fare wars in Australia (as well as the troubles at Ansett), and many comentators are predicting at least a casualty by the end of the year.

Does anyone want to stick their neck out and make some predictions as to what might happen?

I think that they may all continue, after carving out different niches for themselves.

I hope that all airline's main aim is still to deliver service with safety - not cheaper prices with cranky flight attendants on airplanes that crash.
