For a school report i need to know a estimate of how many domestic and international flights are in the us every day. Please reply as soon as possible

I just watched something on USATODAY.com and it said there were 35,000 flights/day in the US

Not sure about Europe, but I know that LAX has about 1500+ flights a day. So that gives you an idea on how many flights depart each day in the whole nation.

When i visited the Montreal Control Center last month it was around 8pm and there was 4900 flights at that single time all over North America, we've also been told that there was approximatelly 200 flights leaving North America to Europe, and 200 doing the opposite.
