I see that all AA international flights arrived at T4 today at JFK. Why?

Somebody spilled a jar of rotten eggs in immigration.

FIS was out of service. Water leak. Flooded all around.

Thanks AAAL, WOW. Nothing worse than a flood to screw things up. I wonder how well the T4 did in handling all that traffic and what the lines were like getting through immigration.

I guess they shifted the staff over for the day, too?

I was fortunate to come in early to T4 on AA 115 from LHR, arriving shortly before 11am. I'm sure closer to 1pm things got really busy with the inbound rush from Europe. At the time I was there, the FIS was a near ghost town and processing was quick.

Apparently the water leak was fairly significant. When I left JFK on 14Jun, the fire alarm kept going off in the terminal. As it was said to me yesterday, the alarm was going off because of the water leak/loss of pressure in the system, and eventually culminated in a flood in the FIS and a caved-in ceiling.
