Air Europa started weekly non-stop service between Miami and Tenerife today. The inaugural flight was sold-out, and Air Europa is already seeing over 70% loads on the weekly service. Air Europa also announced today the flight, which was to operate only during the summer timetable, will run for at least the first half of the winter timetable, through the end of January. A second weekly flight is also being considered.

Wish Air Europa would advertise the service a bit more
at the Canary Island end, plus perhaps arrange some
code share with Binter to offer feed to/from the other islands...
Hopefully it will work out anyway...

70% loadfactor in the first month, already extended into the winter season and a second weekly frequency is coming.
