Hey, I was looking at Comair's 1 Sep 1982 timetable http://www.departedflights.com/OH090182p1.html and noticed they had no way to distinguish between aircraft used (besides SD-330 flights in bold). What did their fleet look like at this time? I believe they had a metro but other than that I don't know. Do the flight numbers coincide with a specific type of aircraft? Thanks.

Ironically I have never flown a Delta MD-90 :)

As I recall they had Metro II aircraft...about 10 of them in 1983. I think they also had some Navajo's...but I could be way off on that one.

I know that when they started in 1977, they had a couple of Navajos. After that, they operated Metros, Shorts SD3-30s, EMB-110s, 120s, Saab 340s, and the now-ubiquitous CRJ series. In 1982, however, I'm unsure as to whether or not they had the -110s as yet. I believe they joined the fleet in the mid-80s before the Brasilias.

Comair actually started with Navajo's, but I'm not sure if they were still in the fleet in 1982.

The Navajos look more sleek and futuristic than Brasilias Big grin
