How often does this runway actually get used (other than for aircraft storage)

03/21 was often used in the past by light aircraft and other G.A. types. It's been a while since I was last down there so it may well have stopped now. However, as far as I know 03/21 is still an active runway in the operational sense.

This aircraft actually belongs to the airport operators, and is a former Polair Air Cargo aircraft. The aircraft also wore MK Airlines titles a while back for filming purposes. It's initial purpose was to be used for film and training work, but whether this is stil the plan is anyone's guess.

Statistically, people who have had the most birthdays tend to live the longest.

at the moment, a lot of the early departures are using 03/21 while runway 13/31 gets resurfaced. but it opens back up during the day for the regular cargo traffic.

Though 03/21 wasn't used today (due to the TFS schedules) it was used yesterday and the day before.

Next Flights:- wherever the airline sends me

I was there the other day and its grand for a cheap trip to Glasgow but I wouldnt call it a nice airport. There is some renovation work going on airside near WH Smith and there was a Pegasus flight to Dalaman and our flight to DUB and the lounge area looked quite cramped. If there had have been another flight it would have been quite uncomfortable. Also in the main departure hall upstairs there seems to be some companies based in the offices that have nothing to do with the airport. Kind of a weird set up.

Saw the resurfacing going on at around 2230 . Are there plans to re do the whole Terminal??
