According to Widgetheads database, the number of planes in the "silver" Northwest livery has just recently been outnumbered by jets in the new Delta livery.

Active Aircraft Percentage of Active Description
416 27.9% Current Delta livery
559 37.5% Wavy gravy
412 27.6% Current Northwest livery: Silver

Is the Ron Allen Scheme still around at all?

No, it's gone. I'm thinking it was 2007 when the last was re-painted.

You are correct, the Ron Allen dress has been removed from the active fleet. However, it was only recently when the last was repainted. Last mainline, ship 130, was repainted July 2008. Last regional, N595SW, a CRJ-200 with Comair, was repainted early this year. An exact date as yet to be determined, but we know it's before March 12th.

Oh yeah, I forgot about the regionals. I have no excuse too because I got that news from you!

Are they referring to all DL aircraft or just former NW aircraft? Because if it is the latter, I'm having a hard time believing that. I'm at the airport almost daily and have barely seen any NW to DL planes.

If someone can provide actual numbers.......

Listen Betty, don't start up with your 'White Zone' s*** again.

It's referring to all DL planes. But at MSP, I'd say 1/5-1/6 aircraft I see are former NW aircraft in DL colors.
