Lately there has been some buzz about the Air New Zealand DC10 crash in Antarctica.

In the last thread, the topic was how the episodes of "Aftermath" were now on Youtube, which dealt with the hearings and crash investigation...

Another thread had a picture at the moment of impact.

I found this on Youtube just now by accident.

I believe this is real, unlike those goofy photos from LOST that were passed of as being real..

Please do not get me wrong, I am not posting this out of disrespect (on the contrary actually), and I know I may (probably) will get flamed. I am posting this because some have asked about this video clip.

And although not graphic, it is disturbing, so don't watch it if it'll bother you....

Yes, it is the real footage that I mentioned a couple months ago in another post. The female flight attendant on the cart is clearly identifiable for those of us who have seen the crew's photographs at the Erebus memorial website.

As I work for the same company as a flight attendant it gives me a sick feeling in the pit of my stomach every time I watch it, so I try to avoid it where possible. I wish it had never been released to be quite honest.

I'm pretty sure there's also another surviving film, shot entirely looking out the window, that shows a brief moment of flame before the camera stops.

Yes, that is, there is also a photo, taken on the moment of impact, there is oil on the outside of the window, its a chilling thing to see.
