If you read the press release, it is clearly stated that C3 IS joining oneworld, and the AA Advantage program also gives C3 pax the FF program the other OneWorld airlines.....And some of you said Rootsair would join....HA!
Oh yeah and that also came just after AC cut ROYAL out of the Aeroplan program.

Slawko, the release I read states that "As part of the One World Alliance, these reward miles can be redeemed on some of the world's top airlines, including British Airways, Japan Airlines, TWA and Qantas, as well as American Airlines and CANADA 3000," however I believe it's referring to AAdvantage being a oneworld program, not C3. And a later release was published - stating it was corrected - with the mention of oneworld removed. The way it sounded to me the implication was that oneworld membership is premature, at least at this point, even if the implication seemed to be there.

You are right...I did read the other one after my post...but this deal does imply the C3AL is aiming for membership in oneworld....and I dont think this will be the last we hear from AA being friendly with C3AL.
