U2 started their latest world tour and this time they are flying around on the Mad Dog:

Does anybody know who they are leasing from?

Last tour (~2005), they used an AC A320 last tour for NA and BAE 146 from Flightline for the European leg.

Their 2001 tour used a 727 in the US and a Privatair 737 BBJ in Europe if memory services.

cannot wiat for the 3 concerts I'm going to here in the US...............and contemplating about seeing them at Wembley stadium this summer!!! Does anyone know who they have set up for the US tour?

They don't need that big a plane; the A320 I thought was a fine choice, but it's based on the stage lengths they'll be doing and the airports they'll be using.

I'll be at Foxboro 1 on September 20, and it's a coin-flip whether they'll use Providence (like the NFL teams do) or Boston (because U2 love the city and usually book The Four Seasons hotel). Maybe they'll bring the MD here.
