Which kind of passengers would fly from OPO to Saint Etienne or Tours?

Isn't there a sizable Portugese population living in France? I believe in Europe, France has the largest Portugese population outside Portugal. I guess they attract this kind of traffic.

Interesting to see EBU combing back in the network. Currently, EBU does not have any scheduled services.

And of course, I'm happy to see EIN getting a new destination.

Would this mean that OPO becomes a base, or will they increase their number of W-patterns?

Indeed, and OPO is an interesting destination. I'll be watching the fares for sure!  bigthumbsup

I'm hopeful that Oporto will become a base for Ryanair. Would be nice to see Ryanair look at expending their offerings to Madeira and Azores from Oporto. We sure need the competition.

Regards,
Wings

Routes will start on 4 September already.

EIN will be served 4-weekly: mo, we, fr, su. Flight times:
OPO-EIN 1730-2110
EIN-OPO 2135-2315

BSL will be served 3-weekly: tu, th, sa. Flight times:
OPO-BSL 1705-2040
BSL-OPO 2105-2240

EBU 2-weekly: wed, sun:. Flight times:
OPO-EBU 1015-1315
EBU-OPO 1340-1450

SUF 2-weekly: mo, fr. Flight times:
OPO-TUF 1005-1305
TUF-OPO 1330-1440

Looking at these times (arrival at OPO 23:25 from EIN), it seems like OPO will be FRs next base.

Also, OPO-BVA will be increased to two-daily. A morning-rotation keeps being done on a W-pattern so far, but an extra daily evening flight is added:

OPO-BVA 1915-2220
BVA-OPO 2245-2350

Seeing how the flight times of BVA and EIN / BSL overlap, OPO will probably get 2 aircraft based.

No official press release yet, but routes are for sale at typical Ryanair prices, (less than EUR 40 one-way incl. taxes & surcharges) and are drawn on the map. OPOs dot isn't red yet (meaning a base), though, but this often takes a little longer.

Now, the press release has been put on the website. OPO is indeed becoming a base with 2 aircraft.

Excellent! OPO FR's 33rd base. Good development. So, including these 4 routes OPO will have 16 routes.

I don't think TP sees it that way Big grin Fares to FNC seem to have fallen ex-LIS since the arrival of U2.

You also now have U2 launching LGW in November.

Good to see another route from BSL. But why they fly exactly on the 3 same days easyJet serves the route as well?
