Actually its not an accident its an incident since there was no loss of life. As far as incidences go its a pretty good one.

Well, I would say that still counts as an accident since the crash was unexpected, and the result of the crash could have been very serious.

well, just my opinion.

This is the plane that crashed twice in the same location. I dont know if this was the first or second. The other was a ground collision with another plane a PR 744 I think.

I remember that the aircraft was in the hanger for a while after the first crash then after coming out of the hanger or within it had another one !!!

Nevermind my previous post, I got in now.

I didn't know Tommy Mogren was in charge of the editing on that page.  Smile

this is NOT an accident but an incident, because an incident is an occurence in which a person is fatally or seriously injured (exept self inflicted injuries, natural causes, stowaways hiding outside normal pax.areas) as a result of : being in the aircraft or in direct contact with the aircraft including pieces that became detached from aircraft or direct exposure to jetblast.

OR, the aircraft sustains damage or structural failure which adversely affects stuctural strength, performance or flight characteristics and would normally require repair or replacement of affected components.
exept for engine failure/damage when limited to engines, cowlings and accessories, or to props., wing tips, antennas, tyres, brakes, fairings, small dents/puncture holes in skin or aircraft is missing or aircraft is missing or completely inaccessible.

just to be clear on the difference incident/accident.
