Etihad Begin Worldwide Lounge Rollout

Etihad have begun to create a worldwide network of lounges. The first having opened in Frankfurt, the next to be LHR Terminal 4 and then onward to New York and Sydney.

I see there is a big push on consistency, perhaps a dig at EK whose biggest downfall is a lack of consistency.
Lounges look nice and add to EY's global image.

Will we see lounges at some of their smaller airport like DUB or MXP? Or is 1 daily flight not even worth a lounge?

I could see lounges at lesser served airports as long as they are doing well. For example, if they had been at GLA like EK for five years and had consistent pax figures then they would probably look into opening a lounge if there were good premium numbers so if DUB does well then yes, probably.

DUB seems to always be quite full in Pearl classyet we dont get a diamond class fitted aircraft so who knows.

I wonder will EY offer these lounges to other airlines o earn some extra revenue and keep them busy.
