I only see 3 shots in the database. This is for Compass. Is Compass more MSP based?

Listen Betty, don't start up with your 'White Zone' s*** again.

Compass has a crew base and MTC base in DTW. I'm sure they see quite a bit of Compass in DTW. Maybe you just need to get up there and take some shots for the database... oh wait... don't. Cause then I'd have to edit them.  duck

Well, in August, I will be on a 175 from IAD-DTW-IAD. Looks like there are two or three a day on that route. So, yes, I would say they fly into there regularly.

I took one from SDF to DTW back at the end of May, they have quite a few there. By the way, anyone know how many of them or what percent have been painted in DL colors?

Compass indeed operates more flights out of MSP, but the other two NW hubs see plenty of EMB action. I'll try to confirm this later, but I almost positive DTW is 2nd-largest for CP. One reason for the low photo numbers could be because DTW operations came along later than MSP. Still, I'd say the low number is just an aberration.

603, 607, 612, and 615CZ are in DL colors. That's 4 out of 36. Usually one is painted about every two weeks.

Excuse me, 609, not 612, is painted. I changed the wrong number. I meant to change 612 to 607, not 609 to 607.

Would have edited the post, but . . . you know.

Just one of Compass is in DL colors, another is in the paint shop right now.

And yes, CP has more of a MSP based then DTW or MEM. MSP is the largest base followed bt DTW then MEM. It is a small operation, only 36 airplanes...

Back in April I flew PIT-DTW on a Compass E-jet. I flew F and I thought it was the best domestic F seat I ever sat in.

I see a fair amount of NW E-jets fly over my house everyday.

although I flew in coach, I thought the E-jet experience was comparable to mainline, perhaps maybe a little better. Sure is a nice plane! Wish AA would get some!

Do the E-jets use the Concourse A for gates or B (B is the one with the RJs and codeshare right?)

5 of my last 13 flights on NW/DL have been on the E-Jets. I've flown both F and Y. I would also rate their F one of the best available. The best seats on the NW E-Jet is definitely row 5 if you can't get F. Lots of legroom. Of coruse, that doesn't bother me much as I'm 5'7" but still if you are looking for lots of legroom and not in F, go for the bulkhead row.

A gates as NW mainline employees handle all Compass flights at hub cities.

There's a few shots of N609CZ in Delta paint here at another site:

I like the Delta look better than the NW colors, I think.
