WARWICK, R.I. (AP) - Passenger traffic at Rhode Island's largest
airport fell to its lowest level for the first six months of the
year since the Sept. 11, 2001 terrorist attacks.
Officials at T.F. Green Airport in Warwick say about 2.2 million
people passed through the facility from January until June. People
who make round trips are counted twice.
The 2009 total is 13 percent lower than in 2003 and 22 percent
lower than 2005.
The number of travelers using Green in the first six months of
this year was down 7 percent from the same period in 2008.
For the month of June, the number of passengers dropped 8
percent, to about 385,000, compared to the same month last year.

I mean it's only going to keep going down like every other middle sized airport in the country....PVD must have lost airline service too, but c'est la vie

The losses at PVD are about half of those at BDL and MHT.
The good news is that legacy cuts seem to be stabilizing. WN has had heavy losses as alot of their customers are more price sensitive.
Experience is what you get when what you thought would work out didn't!
