As the global economic crisis is getting worse everyday, SAAD group which controls SAAD aviation is under a big problems with the banks due to default in some credit issue. It seems SAAD group borrowed money to invest worldwide, and one of that investment was buying aurbus A346, with that fantastic livery, and lavish VIP interior.
Today in the news, one of the analyist said that there is a big possibility that the British banks who lend SAAD group the money might take the aviation division of the group (which is offices based in London) and put it in an auction.
The subject here is, who will buy a VIP long Airbus which is costly to maintain and run ?
Would any commercial airline be interested like Private air?
I doubt that a head of state will buy such aircraft due to the huge fuss done by the media in this region ?
I see the topic getting a real issue and i highly doubt that SAAD group aircrafts will be sold.

I guess the private charter market isn't that big for an airplane the size of A340-600...

For what! They'd lose a good deal of money, then again banks love writing things off lately.

There's not many buyers out there for a plane this big. Worst case scenario is rip out the interior and try to sell it to an airline I suppose.
