If if you live near an airport you probably have some problems with the noise of those old planes taking off and landing.
Here in Vitoria, Brazil, Varig and Vasp operate B737-200 and TAM F-100s. I can´t stand the "quake" from VP 737´s. They really bother me. But now I´m dealing with my nithmare..... There is a Varig Log 727-100F that struggels the air with its bizarre sound.. Goshhh!!!1 I wish RG and VP replace this planes for newer ones such as 737-300/400 from TRANSBRASIL. They are so quiet compare to others... What are the worst ones at your airport?

At my local airport, it is probably the few T-6 Texans based here. I love waking up to those things rumbling over my house in formation at a few hundred feet AGL.

At Singapore Changi Airport, the noisiest regular visitor has definitely got to be the Boeing 737-200B of Bouraq Indonesian Airlines!!! The explosive crackling noise makes the air vibrate from the moment it rolls to rotate and climb out.

my local airport (PNQ) is actually an airforce base. So the loudest aircraft coming in are fighters/bombers like Mig-29's, Sukhoi-30's and a couple of Jaguar-IM's. Among military transports, there r the Il-76 which is loud, but considering its size i guess its less noisy than the An-32's which rattle your brains out. I once had the misfortune of standing on the military apron while an An-32 was being started. THat was definitely not an experience to be repeated!
The loudest civilian aircraft are the 737-200 which is quite regular. Sometimes we get Cargo 727's here which are even noisier!

I don't know too much about IL planes, but I guess the noisiest at YYZ should be the DC-9s and 727 besides IL planes mentioned by CPDC-10-30. At YHM, the noisiest should be 727 and DC-9 too.

I work at HNL and HA and AQ still fly the old DC 9's and 737's, those are fairly noisy.
Because HNL and Hickam AFB share the same runways the military traffic is much louder. The Air guards F-15's they're usually as loud as HA's DC 9's unless they have afterburners on. The ocassional B1 or U2 are also pretty loud.
The miltary stopped flying the old KC-135's out of HNL a few years back. The ones with the old meth-mix injected engines were deafening but cool to watch. I remember their long take off rolls and all that black smoke, they wouldn't rotate untill they were going really fast, after that it was a slow shallow climb out.

At RDU I am going to say the 737-200. Several airlines fly them here but I always seem to notice Delta Express on take off. Next is the DC-9 by Northwest followed by the 727 by American.

Everyday we have the Fokker F.28-4000 making all the noise here with the RR Speys. On very regular visits we have the RAAF F/A-18s stirring up the city. At the moment though we have numerous C-5 Galaxys from Travis AFB here making the most noise.
Oh and for helicopters we have the CH-4 Chinook creating a bit of window shaking.

Well, I live closest to BUR (Burbank), and I can't tell what kind of plane it is (Jetstream Possibly), but it is noisy as all hell. And since they're private they often fly in at really awful hours like 11:30pm. As for commercial planes, I occasionally here Southwest 737s but the landing approach is a little farther north and I fortunately avoid the noise for the most part.
