Pakistan International have announced they will be starting two additional services to BHX from winter 2001/2002.The extra services will run on Tuesday and Saturday using A310s. One will be direct to Islamabad and the other to Peshawer via Islamabad.

Shame they aren't going to start a LBA service!!

Where did you get this info from? Im glad the A310s are being operated to UK and that the service links Peshawar with England, I always believed a market did exist in PEW for UK services, I also wouldnt be surprised if LBA is added to the network in the future Smile

Perhaps they could if theyre market oriented, but a shortage of aircraft might be a hinderence, even if they did fly to EMA it would be with the A310 and not the 747 Smile

Delightful to know that Peshawar's hub is expanding. I think in future, if Pakistan can support it, Peshawar's runway and facilities might be improved for big aircraft like 747.

i suppose that could be a problem as the biggest population of Asians is in Birmingham so its understandable to increase service from BHX.
