On July 26th, American 50 is N788AN. So there is a fairly good chance you'll be flying N788AN.

Right now the plan for 51/27JUL is to be N778AN, not N788AN. 51/27JUL is using the aircraft doing 56/26JUL MIA-LHR. it's also fleet # 7AJ if that helps. You can spot that easily on the nosegear.

AA internal Aircraft nose number. Easier to identify internally.
AA's 777 are labelled starting with 7AA, 7AB all the way down to the latest 7CC for a total of 47 frames

Correct. From the actual flight paperwork:

- IFR AAL51/27 7AJ/N778AN LHR DFW 1ST ALTN OKC 2ND ALTN AUS

7AJ = internal acft numbering system [hexidecimal to track >1000 airframes using 3-digits].

N778AN = Registration Number
