AirVenture - the EAA annual air show starts Monday July 27 and runs through Sunday Aug 2.
Who all is going?
I am probably spoiled in that I live about an hour away - and drop in every couple of years (or so) - and have for decades. I even remember visiting the EAA musuem prior to them relocating to Oshkosh (they used to be near Milwaukee - in the 60's - early 70's).
I've judging a canoe/kayak race Friday - Sunday elsewhere (and have to leave on Thursday); but am thinking of taking another day off of work and dropping in.

Not this year for me. I was there 2003 and 2008. Good times.

I will definitely be attending either Tuesday the 28th or Friday the 31st to hopefully see an A380 demo flight...leaning on Friday though to check out the interior as well. Being a Wisconsin resident, it's a great chance to finally catch it up close and in the air. Can't wait for that and everything else AirVenture has to offer-the trip up to OSH is always one of my favorite days of the year!

Will be there on Thursday. If anyone wants to share a car from Milwaukee (where I will be staying, with a friend) to Oshkosh and back that day let me know.
Read this very carefully, I shall write this only once!

Shame shame. I would love to see the A380 in MKE before it makes the short hop to OSH. I'm an hour north, at SBM. And I'll be heading to the show on Friday.

I live only about 1.5 hours away so I go quite regularly. I'm going tomorrow with a few friends and then I'm staying through Sat. to work for my college (Embry-Riddle) at their booth. So stop by and say hi!
