Hey All:

Hopefully you all had a wonderful weekend!

I noticed for quite sometime that the specialty schemes of WN always sport grey winglets instead of the normal SWA.com blue winglets. I always wondered why this was the case?

On a side note I always wonder what the next specialty scheme will be?  Wink

I've bugged CEO Gary Kelly a few times about this, including once at a Spirit Party and once at a Message to the Field, and he finally agreed that we would eventually see a "Sunshine One" for Florida.

I figured this would be the next one.

And they still keep managing to forget Oklahoma and Louisiana...the first two states they served outside of Texas!

I think it's just that the grey is neutral and doesn't distract from the design. They COULD paint it to match, but it would be kind of unnecessary.

As did I.
I wouldn't be surprised to see Colorado One (or even better, Mountain One) after that

I don't think Colorado deserves a plane yet, IMO. But they keep doggin' Washington State. After all, WN does a heck of a lot of flights to SEA and also to GEG as well. I could see it called Evergreen One.

That's the first I've heard that. That is a classic!

What we need is an "America One" or "Freedom One" where the plane is one huge waving American flag. We are also in DIRE need of a 737NG in BOEING COLORS!!! C'mon!!!!

"Primer One" will be painted in normal Canyon Blue next month, so it's goodbye to that eyesore!

That was a rumor 5 years ago when I got hired because they replaced the special interior with the current standard interior. It has since been repainted... Looks like it needs paint but I'll believe it's going to be blue when I see it.

I think that is going to happen eventually. Still waiting for it. AS has their Boeing color aircraft, I am surprised they beat WN on that!  bouncy

I know AWAC...it's a real shame. Big thumbs down for not having those two yet.

Lets take this one step further...

We'll get Mountain One, and when it gets cold, it turns blue, that means its as cold as the Rockies!

Now that would be cool! Maybe they'll do a advertising deal with Coors, a theme jet. Very cool!
