Hi All!

I am curious to know when the next round of expansion from VX will be. I know that they are interested in Chicago, but when might they add other cities?

I remember that in the beginning their goal was to serve about 25-30 cities within 5 years of incarnation, what are the chances of them meeting that goal?

THanks!

I love ✈ & volcanoes but the 2 of them dont get along, just ask KLM867 & PH-BFC

They were more than interested in Chicago. They were actually all ready to start service but cancelled since they couldn't get gates. (at least at the price they wanted)

As far as new cities go, consensus is that Austin and Miami are the most likely new destinations though I don't think that any firm plans are in place.

I know it's not about to happen but: How about some up and down east coast flying? Take on US PLEASE?

LGA, DCA, RDU, ATL, JAX, TPA, MIA

Could do a microhub in RDU or how about up against WN at BNA?

oh boy!!!

My guess would be Chicago, Miami and Portland would be in the next round followed by Denver, Phoenix, somewhere in Texas (Dallas or Austin) and possibly Atlanta.

Here's Virgin America's projected service city list (besides the ones they already fly to).

Not sure about CVG, RSW, JAX, PVD, or SRQ from SFO, but the other cities seem like like good fits.

* Charlotte
* Chicago
* Cincinnati
* Cleveland
* Dallas
* Denver
* Detroit
* Fort Lauderdale

I've seen this list before and I think that it is pretty old, and a sort of long term wish list, rather than what may happen soon. A lot of those cities may not see service for 3 years or more if they see VX at all.
