Yes its pretty amazing, however all these locations provide significant traffic flow to Turkey, both tourism, growing VFR population living in Turkey, and ever growing business ties.
I recently read, that Turkish construction firms were the single largest foreign block working on projects in former USSR.

TK will get a lot of pax from Lviv for Turkish destinations as well as pax to connect onward to global TK network from IST. It has been a wise move by TK to start Lviv. Also TK wishes to attract Turkish pax to Lviv for thermal tourism.
