What does the term "qualifier" mean with regards to "qualifier paint scheme"??
I am relatively new to the hobby of civil aviation and plane spotting and this term has me stumped! What is the plane qualifying for??
Thanks

Qualiflyer is an alliance founded by Swissair and includes Sabena, TAP, THY, Air Liberte, Crossair, Air Littoral,, Air Europe, LOT and PGA Portugalia.
The Qualiflyer scheme is the scheme which has certain elements standardised on all Qualiflyer aircraft, the main one being a blue belly.
