Passengers increased 19% in July from 5.66m in July 2008 to 6.73m in July 2009.

Load factor remained at 89% in July 2008 and 2009.

In the 12 months to 31st July 2009, FR carried 61.3m.

This increase in passenger numbers is not surprising: it has slashed its average fare from about €44 to around €34 to help keep people flying (meanwhile cutting costs by 5% and increasing the price of some a la carte components) and it has continued to expand its operations. This will clearly will contibute to it achieving its stated aim of carrying 67m people by the end of this FY.
