I have watched quite recently the 2006 documentary "A Week In The Life Of American Airlines", and I noticed many problems within the company unions as well as other things with regards to American Airlines. I'd like to know what has changed since that documentary was made three years ago..

I've watched that documentary as well. Not working at AA I don't know much about the topic, but the conventional wisdom seems to be that now more than three years ago its clear to the unions and everyone that AA has the highest labor costs in the industry, so they may be willing to work together more on that basis.
